It’s been awhile since I talked to ya’ll. I’ve been busy with kids.LOL I’m keeping my nieces two babies(ages 17months & 4 months), they are being raised as our grandbabies.(that’s what their mommy wanted) Her mom is dead and her dad kinda gave them up.

I started Christmas shopping today. I’m going to make fleece blankets for all 8 of the grandkids, just something to lay and watch TV with or whatever they want to do with them. What are some of the things ya’ll are doing for Christmas? We always tell the real Christmas story to the grands so they are learning there is more than just Santa to Christmas. The 5 and 6 yr olds understand better than the other though. They will learn as they grow.:) I like to incorporate the real story of Christ’s birth in our Christmas morning get together.:)

I hope to hear some responses from this post. I would really like to know what ya’ll are working on if anything….baking counts too.:)

Have a great night! Be Blessed! Huggs!!!

  1. Hello Paula!

It's good to hear from you again. I see how busy you are taking care of your grands and planning for Christmas.
We also do educate our children about the true meaning of Christmas and why we celebrate it. It's a yearly opportunity that we don't want to miss. I have prepared print-outs to hang on our wall, little histories about things related to Christmas: star, tree, manger, etc.

    Hope everything's well with you.

  2. Hello Ruth!
It's wonderful to hear from you again. I loved hearing about what you're doing to remind everyone of the true meaning of Christmas. I'll try to pop in a little more often if I get the chance. The little ones are sleeping now. Take care.
    Be Blessed, Huggs, Paula
